A. Device and Usage Data

We may collect anonymous, non-personal data regarding your usage of the App to improve stability and performance, such as:

  • Session duration and frequency.

  • Crash reports and performance metrics (via Unity Analytics).

  • Headset type and device specifications.

B. Audio and Voice Data

The App requests microphone access (RECORD_AUDIO) for the "Satsang" voice interaction feature.

  • Transcription: Voice data is processed locally or transiently to convert speech to text. We do not store recordings of your voice on our persistent servers.

  • Ephemeral Processing: Raw audio data is processed transiently solely to generate the Avatar's response and is not retained.

C. AI & Chat History (Large Language Models)

Our App uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to power interactive conversations with virtual characters.

  • Service Provider: We utilize OpenAI's API (GPT Models) to generate character dialogue and spiritual guidance.

  • Data Transmission: When you speak to an Avatar, the transcribed text of your query is sent securely to OpenAI for processing.

  • Context Retention: We store an anonymized history of the text-based conversation (User Query and AI Response) solely to maintain the context of your current session (e.g., so the Avatar remembers what you asked previously).

  • No Training: We do not use your conversation data to train our own AI models. OpenAI’s Enterprise API policy states that they do not use API data to train their models.

  • Anonymity: All AI interactions are processed under an anonymous client identifier (vr_client) and are not linked to your personal identity.

D. Storage and Media

The App requests storage access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) solely to:

  • Download and cache application assets (such as Temple environments and Audio tracks) to your device to improve performance.

  • Cache temporary Text-to-Speech (TTS) audio files for immediate playback (these are automatically deleted).

We do not access your personal photos, videos, or other media files outside of the App's own specific directories.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected anonymous data to:

  • Improve the performance and stability of the App.

  • Fix bugs and optimize graphics for your specific headset.

  • Facilitate the core Kirtan and Satsang game mechanics.

  • Provide context-aware spiritual guidance via AI characters.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

Third-Party Service Providers: We transmit data to specific third-party providers solely to facilitate App functionality:

  • OpenAI: For generating AI character responses (Text-to-Text).

  • Unity Analytics: For collecting anonymous crash and performance data.

These providers are bound by strict data privacy and security obligations.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not intended for unsupervised use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
