TrigunAI Innovations Pvt Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our virtual reality application, GuruLok (the "App"), available on the Meta Horizon Store.

1. Information We Collect

Our App collects and processes the following categories of data:

A. Meta Platform Data

When you use GuruLok on a Meta Quest device, we collect the following data through the Meta Platform:

  • User ID: Your unique Meta Platform user identifier. We use this to manage your app entitlement, enable in-app purchases, and deliver downloadable content you have purchased.

  • User Age Group: Your age group classification as provided by the Meta Platform. We use this to ensure age-appropriate content delivery and to comply with applicable regulations regarding minors.

This data is linked to your Meta account and is considered personal data.

B. In-App Purchase Data

If you make in-app purchases or download additional content within GuruLok:

  • We process your User ID to verify purchase entitlements and deliver purchased content (such as temple environments, audio packs, or other downloadable content).

  • Payment processing is handled entirely by the Meta Platform. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment method details (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.).

  • We may retain a record of your purchase history (items purchased and dates) linked to your User ID to restore your purchases across sessions and devices.

C. Device and Usage Data

We collect device and usage data to improve stability and performance, including:

  • Session duration and frequency.

  • Crash reports and performance metrics (via Unity Analytics).

  • Headset type and device specifications.

D. Audio and Voice Data

The App requests microphone access (RECORD_AUDIO) for the "Satsang" voice interaction feature.

  • Transcription: Voice data is processed transiently to convert speech to text. We do not store recordings of your voice on our servers.

  • Ephemeral Processing: Raw audio data is processed solely to generate the Avatar's response and is not retained after the response is delivered.

E. AI and Chat Data (Large Language Models)

Our App uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to power interactive conversations with virtual characters.

  • Service Provider: We utilize OpenAI's API (GPT Models) to generate character dialogue and spiritual guidance.

  • Data Transmission: When you speak to an Avatar, the transcribed text of your query is sent securely to OpenAI for processing.

  • Context Retention: We store a conversation history (user query and AI response) linked to an anonymous session identifier to maintain context within your current session (so the Avatar remembers what you asked previously). This session data is not linked to your Meta User ID.

  • No Training: We do not use your conversation data to train our own AI models. OpenAI's API data usage policy states that API data is not used to train their models.

F. Storage and Media

The App requests storage access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) solely to:

  • Download and cache application assets (such as temple environments and audio tracks) to your device for performance optimization.

  • Cache temporary Text-to-Speech (TTS) audio files for immediate playback (these are automatically deleted after use).

We do not access your personal photos, videos, or other media files outside of the App's own data directories.

G. Multiplayer & Avatar Data

When you participate in multiplayer sessions within GuruLok, the following data is collected or processed:

  • Meta Avatar Data: When you join a multiplayer session, we access your Meta Avatar appearance through the Meta Avatars SDK to display your avatar to other participants. Avatar data is loaded directly from Meta's servers and is not stored by us.

  • Room Session Data: When you create or join a multiplayer kirtan room, we use Photon Fusion networking services to facilitate real-time connections between participants. This includes temporary session identifiers (room codes) and player connection states.

  • Position and Movement Data: During multiplayer sessions, head and hand tracking positions are shared with other participants in real-time to animate your avatar. This data is transient and not stored after the session ends.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • User ID: To manage app entitlement, verify in-app purchases, deliver downloadable content, and restore purchases across sessions.

  • User Age Group: To ensure compliance with age-related content regulations and deliver age-appropriate experiences.

  • Device and Usage Data: To improve the performance and stability of the App, fix bugs, and optimize graphics for your headset.

  • Voice and Chat Data: To facilitate the core Satsang interaction mechanic and provide context-aware spiritual guidance via AI characters.

  • Purchase Data: To fulfill in-app purchases and restore previously purchased content.

  • Multiplayer Data: To facilitate real-time multiplayer sessions, render participant avatars, and enable shared spiritual experiences within kirtan rooms.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

We transmit data to the following third-party service providers solely to facilitate App functionality:

  • Meta Platform: For user authentication, entitlement verification, in-app purchase processing, and age group classification.

  • OpenAI: For generating AI character responses (text-to-text processing only).

  • Unity Analytics: For collecting crash reports and anonymous performance data.

These providers are bound by their respective data privacy and security obligations.

4. Data Retention

  • User ID and Purchase Records: Retained for as long as your app entitlement is active, or until you request deletion.

  • AI Conversation History: Session-based; retained only for the duration of your active session and automatically cleared when the session ends.

  • Voice/Audio Data: Not retained; processed transiently and discarded immediately.

  • Device and Usage Data: Retained in anonymized, aggregated form for up to 12 months for analytics purposes.

  • Multiplayer Session Data: Room codes, player positions, and avatar states are transient and exist only during an active session. No multiplayer data is stored after disconnection.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we collect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmitted to third-party services (OpenAI, Meta Platform, Photon) is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for unsupervised use by children under the age of 13. We use the User Age Group data provided by the Meta Platform to help enforce this restriction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that data promptly.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you.

We will process and confirm the deletion of all applicable data records within 30 days of receiving your request. Upon deletion, your in-app purchase history and any associated session data will be permanently removed from our systems.
